The scanner above has thirteen one-click scans: near the 52-week high or low, large caps on the lowest P/E, top performers over a year, top gainers and losers today, quality at a fair price, fresh earnings momentum, income, deep value, Shariah quality, banks and high-dividend banks. You can also build your own filter, save it on your device and share it as a link.
P/E is the share price divided by a year of earnings per share: how many years of current profit you pay for. P/B compares the price with the book value of the company's net assets, useful for banks and asset-heavy businesses. Dividend yield is the last year of cash dividends as a share of the price. The 52-week range shows where the price sits between its one-year low and high. Earnings momentum flags companies whose profit is growing faster than their sales, in one or both of the last two periods. The Pulse Score (0 to 100) and margin of safety against our fair value estimate are part of membership.
Screens find candidates; they do not make decisions. A low P/E can be a bargain or a warning that profit is about to fall, and a high yield can be a one-off payout. Use a scan to narrow the field, then read the company's results and check why it qualified. That is why each shortlist on this page says what it looks for.
